Host Mikki Uzupes joins HealthWorks Host Donna Decker for a special half-hour program on Rachel's Challenge, a national anti-bullying program coming to Wayne County in September. Rachel Scott was the first student shot by the gunman at Columbine High School in 1999. Her family, inspired by her writings, created Rachel's Challenge, which asks people to act with kindness and compassion toward others. The 9,000-plus students at Wallenpaupack, Wayne Highlands, Western Wayne and Forest City School District will participate in the challenge and programs for the general public have also been planned in each district: Wallenpaupack,Sept.10; Honesdale, Sept. 12; Western Wayne, Sept. 25; and Forest City, Sept. 26.
